Citizenship Recovery Requirements
Students receiving a "U" in Citizenship must clear the "U" before they will be allowed to graduate from NUAMES. Students who need to recover Citizenship credit can choose one of the makeup options below.
2 Options for Citizenship Recovery
Each plan results in the removal of ONE "U" and has a $10 posting fee payable to the office.
Option 1: Create a Success Plan
Meet with an administrator, teacher, or school counselor to come up with a success plan. A success plan consists of 4 combined hours of activities like attending tutoring sessions, citizenship makeup sessions, and completing volunteer work at NUAMES. Option 2: Community Service
Complete 4 hours of approved community service.
