Internship

Internship in an education opportunity the gives students the opportunity to explore career interests with businesses, schools, or agencies in the community. This experience may include either hands-on or job shadowing. Internships are usually unpaid.


A high level of commitment is expected from students in this internship program.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for students to improve skills, explore careers, and develop goals for the future.
  • Internships offer employers the opportunity to get to know the next generation of employees and help interns practice employable skills necessary for their future career.

Intern Requirements

  • Senior or Junior
  • 3.0 GPA
  • have taken or be enrolled in CTE classes related to your Internship
  • Honest, hardworking, dependable, trustworthy
  • Transportation to and from internship
  • Parent/Guardian support
  • Have a career goal

Misc. Information

Internships are Available 1st or 2nd Semester

Internship class - 9th Period, 0.5 CTE credit

3 hours each week at Internship site

Interns will complete an online portfolio using LinkedIn

Classwork/assignments will be completed online through Canvas
