Our Teachers are
Best in State

Time-proven & Tested Faculty

Our faculty is experienced, dedicated, and proven. NUAMES maintains an exceptionally high teacher retention rate -- even through the challenges of the COVID years -- reflecting the strength of our school culture. Our teachers have been recognized among the Best in Utah by Niche, and NUAMES was also named one of the Best Employers in Utah by Utah Business Magazine.

Our "secret sauce" is our teachers—kids come for the reputation, they stay for the teachers.

Highest Accreditation Score

For accreditation last year, NUAMES teachers had no levels of insufficiency and no levels of needed improvement. You might have to be an educator to understand how high this score is.

On the Educational Quality Index, an accreditor who has been accrediting schools & colleges for 25 years said it is the highest score he has ever seen.

That is why it comes back to the teachers—it is really about the classroom experience.

NUAMES LEA-Specific Licensure Notification

NUAMES Early College High School employs a limited number of instructors under a Utah LEA-Specific Educator License in accordance with Utah State Board of Education guidelines.

These individuals are highly qualified subject-matter experts, most commonly college professors who teach concurrent enrollment (CE) courses for NUAMES students.

During the 2025–2026 school year, NUAMES employs one full-time teacher on an LEA-Specific License and six part-time instructors on LEA-Specific Licenses. These part-time instructors are certified faculty at Weber State University and teach a single concurrent enrollment section for NUAMES students. All other NUAMES teachers hold current Utah educator licenses, and the majority of our faculty hold master’s degrees or higher, reflecting the school’s strong commitment to academic excellence and college-level instruction.
