Hybrid Friday Guidelines

We have created some guidelines for Hybrid Fridays moving forward. The goal of Hybrid Fridays is to provide students with flexibility while also offering additional support. Please review the expectations below.

Students with A–C grades

  • May complete Hybrid Friday work from home unless their teacher requires them to attend in person or on Zoom.
  • Students must submit Friday’s work by 12:30 p.m. on Friday to be marked present, unless a later time has been established by their teacher. 

Students with D–F grades

  • Must attend in person or on Zoom during their assigned class period every Hybrid Friday until their grade improves.
  • Attendance is required even if the Hybrid Friday assignment is completed.


For Everyone

  • Complete the Hybrid Friday work assigned by each teacher.
  • Check Canvas for instructions and assignments each week.
  • Attend during your regularly scheduled class period (A1 during A1, A2 during A2, etc.).
  • Contact your teacher if you need help or clarification.
  • Work submitted after Friday may still receive assignment credit, but it will not change Friday’s attendance.

Teachers will communicate their specific Hybrid Friday plans, including whether they will be available in person or remotely, and how students can get help.
